Plumeria

Plumeria, commonly known as frangipani, is a genus of flowering plants in the family Apocynaceae. Most species are deciduous shrubs or small trees. They are native to the Neotropical realm in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and northwestern South America, but are often grown as ornamental plants in tropical regions, including Florida, Hawaii, South America south to northern Argentina, southern China, northern India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Senegal, and in parts of the Arabian Peninsula with irrigation.
