Anabarites
Anabarites is a problematic lower Cambrian genus, and is one of the small shelly fossils. It was abundant in the early Tommotian and is also found in the Nemakit-Daldynian. The fossils represent the triradially symmetrical mineralised tube in which the organism dwelt; it was sedentary. It is named after the Anabar region in Yakutia, Russia; its name does not imply 'heavy'.
No picture of Anabarites was found. Wikipedia, Wikidata, iDigBio and Smithsonian Open Access were searched and had none. GBIF was asked, and what came back is not recorded: nothing, or a picture this site could not tie to Anabarites, or no answer at all. This entry cannot say which.

Time the record covers
At least 22 million years on record.
The record covers at least 538.8 Mya to 516 Mya. No occurrence read is dated outside 635 Mya to 506.5 Mya.
264 occurrences of Anabarites on record, most of them in the Cambrian. Bar height is expected occurrences, not a count: each fossil is spread across the span it is dated to, so a tall narrow bar means tight dating and a low wide one means loose.
When
264 occurrences- Cambrian99%
These are dates about fossils, not the animal: the record can only begin after it arose and end before it died out, so either end may reach further. Shares are expected occurrences: a fossil dated to a span is counted partly in each period it straddles. More on what this infers.

The Paleobiology Database records 177 sites for Anabarites, and this reads all of them. The number is how many of those sites it was catalogued from too. The 24 sharing the most are listed.
This is not a list of everything alive at the time. It is only what has come out of the same ground as this animal and been written down.
