Nostoceras

Nostoceras is an extinct genus of ammonites. The genus name comes from Ancient Greek νόστος (nóstos), meaning "return", and κέρας (céras), meaning "horn", named as such by Alpheus Hyatt because the species' shell bends back on itself.
